- The host writes a short story with several blanks in it (like a Mad Lib).
- The host will read the story and ask for audience suggestions to fill in the blanks.
- As the story progresses and blanks are filled in, the players announce something/someone/phenomenon that belongs in the suggestion and then mimes it. They may also use sounds.
- The game ends when the story is completed.
Example:
“AN AEROPLANE TOUCHED DOWN IN ____________________”
“A WOMAN EXITED THE PLANE, MOVED THROUGH THE TERMINAL AND GOT INTO A __________________”
“TAKE ME TO ___________________ SHE SAID TO THE DRIVER”
“THAT CAN’T BE RIGHT, SAID THE DRIVER – PERHAPS YOU MEANT TO SAY ____________________”
“OH THAT’S RIGHT, SAID THE WOMAN, TAKE ME THERE.”
“SO THEY DROVE PAST A __________ AND PAST ________________ AND EVENTUALLY ARRIVED AT THEIR DESTINATION.”
“WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO HERE? ASKED THE DRIVER”
“OH, SAID THE WOMAN, I’M GOING TO OPEN A __________________”
“AND SHE DID. THE END. GO HOME. GO HOME NOW. THE SHOW HAS ENDED. PLEASE LEAVE”.
